Cancellation & Refund Policy

This policy explains how cancellations and refunds work for purchases made through the Planout app and website, operated by Codeaamy FZCO ("Planout", "we", "us").

1. Free to use

Planout's core planning features are free to use. You are not charged to create an account, plan events, manage groups, share itineraries, split expenses, or play the built-in games.

2. Paid subscriptions & features

If you purchase an optional subscription or paid feature, the price and billing period are shown to you before you confirm the purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless cancelled.

3. Purchases via the App Store or Google Play

Most purchases are processed by Apple or Google through your app-store account. For these purchases:

• Cancellations — manage or cancel your subscription any time in your Apple ID or Google Play account settings. Cancelling stops future renewals; you keep access until the end of the current period.
• Refunds — refunds for app-store purchases are handled by Apple or Google under their respective policies. Please request these directly through the App Store or Google Play.

4. Direct purchases

For any purchase made directly through us (not via an app store), you may request a refund within 7 days of the transaction if the paid feature was not delivered or did not work as described. Approved refunds are issued to your original payment method, typically within 5–7 business days, depending on your bank or payment provider.

5. Non-refundable items

• Subscription periods that have already been used or partially used;
• Purchases where a refund has already been provided; and
• Amounts owed between users (Planout only helps you track shared expenses — it does not process payments between users).

For direct purchases, email us with your account email and the transaction details and we will respond as quickly as possible.
